Omusubi is the Japan Foundation, Sydney's monthly email magazine, providing up-to date information about our events and film screenings, Japan-related event information around Australia, ideas and resources for teachers of Japanese and a range of articles focusing on Japanese culture and Australia-Japan related issues.

The title comes from the Japanese verb musubu (結ぶ), which means to join, or unite and Omusubi also refers to a Japanese rice ball snack, we hope our email magazine provides readers with a tasty bite of Japan on the go!
