OPTION 2 – Join online
 
Fill in the online form. After submitting your form, you’ll receive an email with your membership number and the Japan Foundation’s bank account details. At this time please make payment of $25.00. You must add your membership number in the ‘description’ box with your online banking screen.
Once we receive payment, your membership card will be sent to you.

Library borrowing terms for JPF-Sydney Paid Members
   
Library Borrowing terms 
Members may borrow 10 items for 5 weeks
Some items are classified as “Short-term Loan Items” that may be borrowed for up to 7 days without the option of loan renewal.
Quantity 10 Items Term 5 Weeks Loan Renewal Loans can be renewed twice. Each renewal is for a period of 5 Weeks from the day you request the renewal *unreserved items only
Your membership card is valid for 1 year from the date of issue. *Please note: You must be over 18 to become a member
 
Registered Mail Service 
A nation-wide registered mail service is provided for JPF-Sydney paid members, particularly those who are not able to visit the library. The Japan Foundation, Sydney will send your requested titles to you by registered post and bear the cost of one-way postage.

In order to request the mail loan service, members are asked to submit detailed bibliographic information of the requested titles to the library in writing either in a prescribed form or by e-mail. Please allow 2 to 5 business days for the delivery.
