The JLPT in Australia is administered by the Japan Foundation, Sydney, in cooperation with a number of host institution test sites around Australia where you can take the test.
Applications are made through the host institution where you intend to take the test. This is done by sending an application form along with test fees to the host institution that will be administering your test. Please refer to the 'contact' page to see host institution details. |

| Before completing the application form, please do the following: |

- Carefully read the JLPT Test Guidelines.
- Download the application forms A & B*.
- Check the website of the host institution. where you intend to take the test and complete the application as per their instructions. Application procedures will vary depending on the host institution.

| Important instructions for all applicants: |

- Applications sent to the Japan Foundation, Sydney will not be accepted. You must apply directly to the host institution at which you will be taking the test.
- Complete all sections of the application form and print on single sided paper only.
- Attach 2 passport-size photographs, one on the “Test Voucher” and one on the “Copy”.
- Include with your application, a stamped self-addressed envelope.
- Prepare test fees as per the instructions given from the host institution at which you will be taking the test.
