An advertisement consists of not only visual work such as illustrations and photographs but also the direction the advertisement takes, a layout, and copy. Sales of merchandise all depend on how these elements can be effectively incorporated. Art - directing work is also my expertise, and I make effective use of such artistic knowledge to create the most suitable illustration for an advertisement. For instance, super - real illustrations can be most suitable for specific types of advertisements, and conversely, rough illustrations for other types of advertisements. It is not clear to me if illustration work itself can be independently classified as an art. However, taking advantage of being a resident of this country, where plenty of precious artistic material exists, I would like to concentrate more on illustration work.
