Artcord

Sense = Awareness = Ceremony = Documentation = Art

I believe that Art is coded knowledge. If we could unlock this code we might explain the structure of our memory system and spiritual consciousness. Art has been used as a container for the power of meaning, recognition and understanding of the spiritual realm. The elements of nature have been explored and a metalanguage has evolved.

A song line, mimic of the animal's voice, grace finger movement of the dance, carved spiral on the rock. This cosmic debris is expression of the great conflicting forces of the universe. This world is hidden behind of our mind. Ancestors living with this dynamic vibration. They spread out their senses from the body to the far beyond the stars. And far beyond the stars where they reached is their own body, the inner cosmos. Develop the expression of this dynamic vibration, abstract and project the images to objects - is the Art. Ancestors create this medium to keep touching spiritual world.

Our life is filled with a sea of riddle. And the meaning becomes physically woven into ornament, pattern, the shape of line and the texture of sound. Everywhere in the world it is not so easy to live. That's why the ancestors established certain knowledge and encoded it into art for telling to the next generation. In this case, culture works as a map for survival, and each artform functions as a container of wisdom. It is very simple but very rational system, and all it still existing. The element of culture can be seen in various ways. All elements are woven together and show the complexity of culture. The colour, sign, symbol, sound, ornament, pattern, and texture have meaning. I studied these messages in my childhood through textiles and dance and music, but I didn't realise that a universe of meaning and its harmony surrounded me. The aim to find out invisible cultural connection, restoration of art of domestic industries, to contain the meaning of cosmology where our mind gets wings
