1968 - 70 Studied and practiced museology at school of Art, Kyoto City College of the Arts
Studied life drawing at Kansai Academy, Kyoto. Post graduate studies, Kyoto Institute of Technology under Professor Yanosuke Kawabata, an oil painter of Shunyo-kai, a Fine Art Society in Japan.
Following the Professor's advice, began to work on water-colour mainly
1964 Graduated at Shinshu University, Japan. Studied oil painting under Noboru Matsumoto, a member of Shunyo-kai
1951 - 1956 Learned gouache painting under Shozo Honma, an oil painter of Fujusha Fine Art Society, in home city Nagaoka - Niigata Japan
1942 Born in Niigata Prefecture, Japan
     
1997 Elected to a Signatory Member of VAS

I am attracted by the vast perspective of the Australian landscapes. I love pastoral views, native bush of eucalyptus and old small towns and villages in the countryside. I would like to express the vast perspective in water-colour.
