Based in Sydney, Australia, photographer Sam Aoki is much praised for his inventive and creative works.
Sam was born in Japan and moved to Sydney Australia in 1979.
In 1985 he graduated from the University of NSW, with a BSc (Bachelor of science) in Mathematics and began his career in photography working as a freelance film coordinator.
In 1988 he went back to Tokyo, Japan to work as an assistant photographer for Mr Tsutomu Wakatsuki.
Since that time Sam has worked as a freelance commercial photographer both here in Sydney and in Tokyo. |

Sam was awarded 'Gold' and 'Finalist' prizes in the prestigious FCC English Advertising Awards in 1994 and 1998 respectively. (NEC, Dentsu agency).

 |
Sam's highly acclaimed photo exhibition, "INCA 21st Century - Lost Civilisation remains", held at Kinokuniya Bookshop in Sydney, was a huge success. |
