| Intensive
Seminars for Teachers of Japanese new! |
The Japan Foundation conducts Intensive Seminars for teachers of Japanese at the Japan Foundation, Sydney Centre twice a year.
These four-day seminars focus on Japanese language teaching methodology, use and creation of teaching resources and proficiency upgrading. Participants are immersed in the Japanese language and culture, enabling them to enhance their Japanese skills in an authentic environment. The seminar also provides an ideal opportunity to network with other Japanese teachers and share ideas and resources.
The Japan Foundation covers the cost of accommodation and some meals. Participants are responsible for their own transport to and from Sydney but are often assisted by their school or educational authority.
We hope that after the seminar participants return to their classrooms motivated with fresh new ideas and enhanced Japanese language skills to pass onto their students.
Applications must be submitted through Educational Authorities in each state. Applications sent directly to the Japan Foundation are not accepted.

If you have any queries about the Intensive Seminars, please contact the Program Coordinator, Amanda Thompson on (02) 8239 0080 or email amanda_thompson@jpf.org.au. |
