| Content: |
This workshop will critically consider the seemingly commonsense notion that "learning is done by learners". We will address "learning" based on the sociocultural approach, consider learner autonomy, and focus on effective classroom practices which promote learner autonomy in a learner centered environment. We will transform our everyday classroom tasks into tasks that promote learner autonomy and share them with our fellow participants. Our おみやげ for the day will be the newly transformed tasks created by the participants.
