| Beginners’ Ⅱ Japanese Course Semester 2 |
This course consists of 2 semesters of 20 weeks each in one year. On completion of this course, participants will be well equipped to pass Level 3 of the Japanese Language Proficiency Test. which will be held on the first Sunday of December every year (in 2009, on 6 December). This course will cover the four basic skills of reading, writing, listening and speaking. Semester 1 will cover Lessons 26 to 37 of the “Minna no Nihongo Ⅱ” (Japanese Kana version) textbook.
In order to join this course, you must take a placement test and obtain over 50%. The test will be held on Tuesday, 27 January 2009 from 6.00 to 8.00 pm. The placement test is set solely for the applicants to better understand the course level and whether or not it is appropriate for them. The test is free of charge. Applications for the test close on Friday, 23 January 2009.
Please note that incomplete application forms will not be accepted.
Maximum 25 participants will be accepted. |

Applications for the placement test for this course close on Friday 23 January 2009.
The test covers basic Japanese grammar contained in Lesson 1 to 25 from Minna no Nihongo Vol.1.
For reference purposes, Minna no Nihongo is available at the Japan Foundation Library.
