Beginners’ I Japanese Course Semester 2 |
This course consists of 2 semesters of 20 weeks each in one year. On completion of this course, participants will be well equipped to pass Level 4 of the Japanese Language Proficiency Test, which is held on the first Sunday of December every year (in 2008, on 7 December). This course will cover the four basic skills of reading, writing, listening and speaking. Semester 2 will cover Lessons 12 to 25 of the “Minna no NihongoⅠ” (Japanese Kana version) textbook.
To be eligible for this course, you are required to pass a placement test. The test is free of charge and will be administered from 6.00 to 8.00 pm on Tuesday, 1 July 2008. Applications for the test close on Friday, 27 June 2008. |

| Applications for the placement test for this course close on Friday, 27 June 2008. The test covers basic Japanese grammar contained in Minna no Nihongo Vol.1 Lessons 1 to 11. Applications will be accepted by email, fax or post. Maximum 25 participants will be accepted. |
