Beginners’ I Japanese Course Semester 2

This course consists of 2 semesters of 20 weeks each in one year. On completion of this course, participants will be well equipped to pass Level 4 of the Japanese Language Proficiency Test, which is  held on the first Sunday of December every year (in 2008, on 7 December). This course will cover the four basic skills of reading, writing, listening and speaking. Semester 2 will cover Lessons 12 to 25 of  the “Minna no NihongoⅠ”  (Japanese Kana version) textbook. 

To be eligible for this course, you are required to pass a placement test. The test is free of charge and will be administered from 6.00 to 8.00 pm on Tuesday, 1 July 2008. Applications for the test close on Friday, 27 June 2008.

Applications for the placement test for this course close on Friday, 27 June 2008. The test covers basic Japanese grammar contained in Minna no Nihongo Vol.1 Lessons 1 to 11. Applications will be accepted by email, fax or post. Maximum 25 participants will be accepted.
