Japanese Language Speech Contest
 

The 39th Japanese Language Speech Contest is back again!
Due to the HSC certificate Japanese Extension Speaking exam, we have rescheduled the contest to Saturday, 13th September 2008. The contest is held each year to encourage people studying Japanese as a Language other than English (LOTE) and who do not speak Japanese as their first language to have an opportunity to challenge themselves in a Speaking contest.

 

There will be four categories available this year,

  1. High School Senior Division (Students in Years 11-12)
  2. Open Beginner Division (Individuals 17 years of age and over)
  3. Open Division (Individuals 17 years of age and over)
  4. Background Speaker Division (Students in Years 11-12 and Individuals 17 years of age & over)

 

Application Deadline: 5pm, Friday, 15th August 2008
