This exhibition comprises over 100 works which exemplify the multiplicity and richness of Japanese handcrafted objects. The exhibition is divided into two sections – utilitarian objects, which have been created to be used in the daily lives of people from different regions of Japan; and creative works of art made by craft artists using skills nurtured in the artisan’s workshop.
