Flights into Foreign

Flights into Foreign is a collection of new video works by Video Artist/ Filmmaker Peter Humble.

Combining single & multiple video projections in reference to a journey to Japan Peter made last year, Flights into Foreign is the result of his experience in a foreign world, and can be read as a kind of open-ended documentation of this journey playing with the idea of the ‘foreign’.

What is foreign to us?
To whom are we foreign?
Who judges what is foreign and what is not?

Running several short films simultaneously, the exhibition will feature Mizu, Overture, Saving Faith, Crossing and various other shorts on loop. Mizu won 1st prize at the 2006 Liquid Lens Film Festival, Brisbane and was a finalist in the 2007 Mardi Gras Film Festival.
