The Face Of Jizo depicts the anguish and struggle of Mitsue, a Japanese woman who survived the 1945 atomic bombing of Hiroshima. Trying to forget the past where she lost her father to the tragedy, her childhood memories of running away instead of attempting to help her father continue to torment her to this day. The bomb killed most of her friends and family leaving Mitsue alone in her family's rundown house. She has one friend, a confidant and advisor left whom she can honestly trust and talk with... the ghost of her father.
