When a gas leak explodes at a yakuza clan's headquarters, fate steps in to bring a shy and timid nurse, Shizuko, together with a meek and indecisive car rental clerk, Suzuki. As they run off with a briefcase of blood-soaked money, they are pursued by yakuza henchmen eager to recover the stolen loot. The timid young pair savours their first real taste of life, as they fall in love while trying to escape from the grasp of the yakuza clan.
