The Japan Foundation aims to promote cultural and intellectual exchange between Japan and other nations through the implementation of comprehensive programs and activities. We focus on three main areas: Arts & Cultural Exchange, Japanese Language Education and Japanese Studies and Intellectual Exchange.
The Japan Foundation, Sydney runs a gallery space and library open for the public to access and enjoy, free of charge. The Japan Foundation was established in 1972 with a global network of 23 offices in 21 countries. The Australian office was founded in 1977. |
